EDUCATION

The majority of associations and membership groups researched by ICOBP and Uniworld expressed extreme urgency in their need for better educational systems. In their own particular organizations they are provided educational venues specific to their industry.

Due to globalization, they expressed their need for new forms of leadership and middle management education, as well as the availability to world-class job skills training to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the work force. ICOBP will provide both through its non-profit educational providers, Gerald Vassar and the Center for Employment Training (CET). 

LEADERSHIP AND MIDDLE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS

Gerald Vassar is currently developing several educational programs for the advancement of resonant and balanced leadership in the world. Gerald intends to integrate best practices in business, education, emotional intelligence, resonant leadership, and organizational sciences to establish a business model of education and training that will promote productivity by creating workplace environments that foster respect, dignity and excellence for employers and employees. This next generation education programs will provide needed curriculum for doing business in a global environment.

The objective will be to design a unique business education model for mid-sized and smaller international companies. The model should not only include training in basic business skills needed in today’s global environment, such as accounting, product development, quality assurance, technology, marketing, public relations, management, human resources, etc., but also the competencies of emotionally intelligent leadership.

The business model will bring educational values and processes that will ensure maximum learning outcomes and skill building that is required to establish positively valued and productive business environments. 

The values of the model will feature well-researched information, resonant training values, transfer of training competencies, process-learning approaches and intentional measurable outcomes. 

Gerald Vassar has developed a network of consultants and strategic alliances in business, education, health, and human services and technology that will be involved in the design and development of the business model.

Gerald Vassar will be a consultant to ICOBP and the Uniworld movement to ensure that the educational model will be consistently implemented and complete with consultation, training, technological development, mentoring and on-going support.

EMPLOYMENT TRAINING PROGRAMS

The Center for Employment Training (CET) is one of the country's largest, most effective educational, and accredited employment training programs, focused on those who need help the most. CET has grown to a national network of 32 vocational educational centers operating in 12 states, including Washington D.C., and now internationally in Canada, Chile and most recently in the Dominican Republic. Plus, negotiations are now underway for new academies in Vietnam and China.

CET also has established partnerships with several different educational groups that utilize their educational programs that are independently operated CET model programs. Working with the private sector, CET has successfully trained and placed thousands upon thousands of people into jobs over the last 40 years providing choices of 56 different courses in which students can enroll.

The mission of CET is based on a philosophy of self-determination. CET seeks to promote the human development and education of low-income people by providing them with marketable skills training and supportive services that contribute to economic self-sufficiency.
