FIRST CONGRESS CONFERENCE

In April 2009, ICOBP will be hosting a five-day event in Las Vegas as its first major annual event named the First Congress Conference.

ICOBP’s First Congress Conference will host all registered members, sponsors, its Independent Sales Organizations, country representatives (ambassador, trade authority and/or business attaché) as well as non-members that are interested in attending the event in Las Vegas, Nevada. This conference will provide networking, training and a deal making atmosphere, which has shown through ICOBP’s research findings to be most desired by international membership groups and business associations.

About the First Congress Conference:

Day one is the registration and introduction to ICOBP, days two through four are allocated for networking, deal making and seminars and day five is the joint session of the International Congress.

There will be educational keynote speakers on topics such as: global economics, international trade for business and industry, governmental rules and regulations, taxation and common business pitfalls. This will all be combined with seminar-type classes on international financing and security that need to be in place when trading or conducting deals internationally.

The three days of actual networking and deal making will be broken up into many different business segments in a tradeshow-type of environment that will focus on topics such as manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, medical, service providers, finance, trade, etc., so that the attendees can accumulate the desired information and have the ability to meet one on one with leaders in their industry and government leaders from around the world. While at the conference they can explore opportunities and carry out deal making.

The last day of the conference becomes a joint session workshop that will involve everyone into a think-tank process that will allow ICOBP to conduct member research for further developments and members’ desired needs for the future. The event will end with an evening banquet, entertainment and a motivational kickoff that will prepare everyone for future involvement.
